Here’s our nod to not one, but two amusement parks. Elitch’s was located on 38th street, and the gazebo that resides there is protected by the Historical Society. The beloved Lakeside Amusement Park is also located nearby. The roller coaster represents the excitement of its rides: Mr. Twister, the Cyclone, and Wild Chipmunk.
